Kraus red dye stain demonstration

Kraus demonstrates the effects of red dye on regular nylon carpet, their UniColor, Ultrel:indelible and Strudon carpet fiber.

★★★ Myth: Red fades faster that all other colors. BRIGHT RED HAIR IS EASY TO MAINTAIN :) GO FOR IT! What you need (you can get everything at Sallys) ~Bleach, QuickBlue with 30 vol. developer. If your hair is really dark you might want to do it twice. wait a day between bleachings. ~Special Effects “Devilish” Red dye, a million times better than all other temporary reds on the market, i tried them all. (This works with other SE colors, i don’t really like their blue/greens, all others are great. Pimpin’ Purple is so beautiful) ~Vaseline or lotion to put on your ears and neck before applying the dye. ~At least 2 pairs of gloves ~Wide-tooth comb ~ColorSafe shampoo ~Good conditioner ~A towel that you don’t mind staining :) ~A good shower/tile cleaner (just for the first wash) Music by: Curtains www.myspace.com The Gun Club www.myspace.com

    @sonyasaur Nice!. I try to wash it less often, but my hair is so oily. Sometimes I use dry shampoo and I can go 3-4 days without washing, It’s best to co-wash.. just use conditioner.

  7. TheStitchCat says:

    @Healthylight I’d say at least 20 days, the second time you dye it it will be even longer

  8. TheStitchCat says:

    @305zshorty I agree

    thank you for the tip

  9. Healthylight says:

    How do you keep the color vibrant? D: I have had my hair brown and purple.. and then within a few days it is white/blonde ):

  10. 305zshorty says:

    A qood thing to also do is put some of the red dye in your shampoo when you wash your hair : ) nott to much though!

  11. LoveHairForever says:

    do not. and i repeat DO NOT. use special effects, dont do it. special effects contains vegetable die, and you cannot get that colour out of your hair whatsoever. you cannot bleach it , it will not come out. this is because it contains vegetable die. if you dont know what that is, google it. anyways, a good friend of mine used special effects and she took 7 hours getting it out. 7. hours!!! dont use it!

    I hate to bother you with another question about the music, but I was just wondering if you could tell me exactly what song was playing at the part when you dyed your hair. i looked all over online and couldn’t figure out whether it was curtains or the gun club … =/
